What is ‘The Trail?’

 Growing in our faith and deepening our relationship with God is a lifelong process, a journey.  At UMC of Murphysboro, ‘The Trail’ is the metaphor we use to describe and discover where we are in our personal relationship with Christ.

 Sometimes we can be on the trail, believing in God, attending church, going through the motions… but become complacent and ‘stuck’ – no longer growing, and no longer reaching new destinations on the path.

 ‘The Trail’ helps you discover where you are in your spiritual journey, and encourages you to seek and discover new ways to take the next step to deepen your relationship with Christ.
